Yes, well...... That is my wife in the background.... In the kitchen were all women should b..... ;-) ..... Happy joke, happy joke!!!!! Do know that afterwards I am the one who is going to be in the kitchen to finish up! I HATE COOKING but do all the cleaning up! :-) This said, once you have finished looking at the wife you can go back to looking at the M90.... It is a north American spec M90 with it's SW1 to SW6..... It comes straight from the Americas (USA) and was/is in good condition for its age! The only thing that bothers me is that it is missing one original aerial (antenna)..... I tried to find an original off of members on Stereo2go, but that did not work out. So I made one.... The tip as you can see is not totally finished, will be needing chroming.... But that is going to be costly!!!!! So I am just going to paint it a close chrome silver until I find an original full aerial replacement!!!! If not, all you M90 owners know how clear and powerful an M90 is compared to ANY frUicking later part of the70s to the mid 80s portable radio cassette player it is!!!!!!!!!! Long live this JVC which will never be beat (it is to late any ways, the 80s are long gone!!!!!!!) Enjoy!

This is my Grundig TK2200 portable reel to reel recorder. It plays 13cm (5 inch) tapes at 4,75 or 9,5 cmps. Mono, half track. I bought this one second hand at marktplaats.nl. It looked and sounded like it hadn't been cleaned ever. After some good cleaning as well on the outside as on the inside it works pretty fine. It has one speaker which is located on the front. The window where you can see the reels turning is actually the back of the recorder. The sound it reproduces is better then my camera's microphone could record. The recorder is also able to record tapes from an external devices, unfortunately this isn't working well (yet?). Dates from ca. 1972.

Just did a repair of this RCA Selectavision VJP900T proable stereo VHS VCR, can be use with the old tube cameras as it has the din plug. This needed a new set of belts for the logic motor and inch roller and tire replaced, also needed a new transister and a couple of capacitors due to audio wasn't working. Pretty much gave it a overhaul, runs very silent now and picture looks great.

This is an old Soundesign model 4983 am/fm stereo receiver with built in 8 track tape player. I picked this up at a flea market for . It performs pretty well, but there is some issues with static, which I am guessing is related to dirty switches/controls. A neat little piece. The radio receives well and the 8 track player seems to play. When I first got it, the tape player was a little slow running. But I disassembled it and lubed the moving parts, so it does well. So sorry that I haven't uploaded any videos in a while. Life has been VERY busy lately, but I have TONS of new vintage audio equipment in which I will be uploading over the next few days. GG Allin's last show was on June 27, 1993 at a small club called The Gas Station, a punk venue located inside of a former gas station at 194 E 2nd Street in Manhattan. During the second song, the power went out, after which he trashed the venue, walked across the street entirely naked, and then continued on (now wearing shorts, but still covered in blood and feces) through the neighborhood, followed by a large group of fans. After walking the streets for several hours, Allin eventually went to the apartment of John Handley Hurt and Dwanna Yount at 29 Avenue B in Manhattan. There, he and others continued to party and use drugs. Sometime during the evening, Allin ingested large amounts of heroin, on which he accidentally overdosed and slipped into an unconscious state. Those in the apartment posed for photos with Allin around 2 AM, not realizing that the musician was already in the early stages of respiratory failure. One fan at the scene later told police that he was snoring at the time the pictures were taken, leading the others in the apartment to believe he had fallen asleep.[18] Sometime in the early morning of June 28, Allin died from the effects of his accidental heroin overdose. He was 36 years old. The next morning, some noticed that Allin still lay motionless in the same place where they had left him and called for an ambulance. I may consider loading another video of this boombox playing some music, of which has been provided by HUTCHYBEE and is basically a 2007 remix of Hashim's 'Al Naafiysh' (The Soul) and it has quite a catchy rhythm and good bassline on it as well as a good top-end, so this HutchyBee remix of this song is definitely a good BoomBox exerciser. :-D STAY TUNED, PEOPLES! The SONY BM-11 was built as a dictation machine, but it is actually a high quality cassette recorder, probably built in the 1980's "Walkman Era". It uses standard cassettes, features "SONY-MATIC" recording, AC Bias, FOUR belts and SOLID BRASS drive components. Most of the machine is made of metal, minimizing the use of plastic. Although designed primarily for dictation, it can record and playback music (in mono, of course). This video shows the high quality SONY dictation machine in operation - playing music - a selection from the "Symphonia Felina" neoclassical music album, and accepting dictation through both it's built in electret condenser microphone and an external microphone. Apparently this is the first VCR that was released in america. The model came out in 1977 but this one was made in 1980. I had to remove 29 years of dust in order to make it work. The sound was just horrible but with some help from an electronic technician I managed to make it work and now it works like a brand new one. People are asking me why didn't I just by a new VCR (I already have one by the way)? Some people like to listen to old vinyl with an old turntable. Watching Star Wars on a VCR that is almost as old as the movie for me is priceless. I always use it to watch my VHS tapes. This is the RCA SelectaVision VBT-501

This is a live 1982 rehearsal of two Robin Trower songs tied together. The original recording was over 10 minutes long so i had to divide this into two parts. The Prt 2 recording (this one, here) starts at the middle solo of Day of the Eagle, and then, Too Rolling Stoned kicks in. Look for the same title but with a Prt 1 in the title to hear the first part. Played by Mario's Band: John Saja - vocals Mike (Boom Boom) Borror - bass Eddie Picard - drums Robbie Daug - guitar This was September 1982. We used to practice upstairs of a Montreal restaurant called, Mario Submarine. Seeing as our band never went as far as having a name, we decided to call ourselves, Mario's Band. We were all 22 years old when we recorded this. We recorded this with a portable Pioneer tape player/radio which was strategically placed in the hall to record all of us as best as possible with the built in stereo microphones. This part of the tape got a little bit erased but it still holds together. My guitar sound, by the way, is coming from a blonde Ibanez (Blazer Series) going into an original 1970's Electroharmonix Big Muff (before there were lights on them) and an MXR Dynacomp (compressor) and ending up in a Roland Cube 60 amp. There is no video so i just took a video of the wave editor on my screen after i copied the song from a audio cassette to my hard drive so i could record the play back in mpeg format. I hope you like this.

Just a quick test of the alleged "X-ray vision" capability of the original NightShot feature of Sony camcorders made prior to August 12, 1998. I used a stock, unmodified Sony CCD-TR940 Hi8 XR analog camcorder without any special filter on the lens. After August 1998, Sony modified their NightShot feature to purposely reduce its effectiveness and render it useless during daytime lighting, due to complaints that it was able to see through light colored clothing!

A beautiful vintage Panasonic Boombox, model no. RX-5030. This is an AM-FM radio cassette recorder with the big (and I mean BIG!!) antenna and handle. Has tons of feature: dual voltage selector, led meter 2-way 4-speaker system, 3-8 ohms speakers connection, line in, line out, headphones jack, microphones up front and microphone jacks (L and R). The boombox is complete, nothing is missing! The battery compartment is clean as a whistle!The AM/FM section plays and sounds extremely good- there is NO STATIC whatsoever during control adjustments. It picks up the stations loud and clear like nothing I've heard before! Even the cassette plays, all of the buttons (Play, Eject, FF, Rew, Rec) And the tape player works great perfect speed and sound.The meters light up bright and clear and the sound is amazing! This model is extremely rare, don't miss this opportunity. The only unfortunate thing is that the knob on top of the antenna is missing but the whole antenna is present.

A very nice US-made reel-to-reel tape recorder. Semi-portable: has a handle, and is not as big as a regular deck, but no batteries and has to run off AC. I found this today (7/8/09) at a thrift store for . I had to do some minor mechanical repairs such as oiling, and putting new foam in for the clutch mechanism for the take-up reel, since the original had crumbled to dust. No recapping had to be done except I may need to replace the motor-run cap sometime soon. This machine also has a PA feature.
A very nice US-made reel-to-reel tape recorder. Semi-portable: has a handle, and is not as big as a regular deck, but no batteries and has to run off AC. I found this today (7/8/09) at a thrift store for . I had to do some minor mechanical repairs such as oiling, and putting new foam in for the clutch mechanism for the take-up reel, since the original had crumbled to dust. No recapping had to be done except I may need to replace the motor-run cap sometime soon. This machine also has a PA feature.
