The interview audio here is from the 1980 premiere of the Australian movie Fatty Finn, which was probably around the 18th December 1980. A publicity event for the movie was staged with a goat race with some of the principal child actors involved which was at the back of the Sydney, George St-Hoyts Cinema, now Event Cinema, in Kent St, Sydney. 2SER FM kids program called Phase 2 was there with Adrian, Anthony, James & Marc to record audio in the form of vox pops but also spoke to Rebecca Rigg and Ben Oxenbould and other cast members. The only adult actor really present on the day was Ross Higgins, who appears here. The people interviewing were marginally older by about 6 years of the child stars involved, as such the questions were not well prepared and repetitive but more than a few of the actors were gifted talkers and saved the project. I've heard a more recent audio interview on U Tube from Ben Oxenbould and its fair to say he was glowing in his praise of the movie Fatty Finn and the 1980 description here of how the initial process of his involvement occurred, matches the more recent U Tube interview. Near the end of this you'll hear Ben do an ID for Phase 2 on 2SER.FM then the title music track from the movie, Fatty Finn. It's time for a re-release of this movie and it should be restored to a high definition format.
