This is a General Electric LoudMouth II AM/FM 8 Track Tape Player, Model # 3-5507C. In this video, I demonstrate all functions of this radio, including the automatic program change while playing Michael Jackson's 'Off The Wall' album. I spent about 2 hours detailing it and getting rid of all the dust in the nooks and crannies. I removed the carrying strap and washed it, and also cleaned and adjusted the tape head to get rid of crosstalk. There is a screw hole in the back of the unit for adjusting any crosstalk tape head alignment problems. The bass response is very good, due to the fact that there is a 5 inch heavy magnet speaker inside. This unit works perfectly, no static in the knobs and the sound is loud and clear. There is a built in power cord that wraps around the back of the unit. Runs also on 8 'C' cell batteries. This radio has such a strong tuner, you seldom ever need to raise the antenna. The antenna is in like new condition. There is a tone control on top, and there are two jacks on the front, one for headphones (ear) and one for a microphone, so you can use this as a PA system or sing along to your favorite songs (I tested it myself!) Thanks for watching.
