It is a small portable cassette tape recorder that runs on any of three power sources, AC line in, 6-volt DC adapter and 4 "C" cell batteries. This "desktop" cassette tape recorder was loaded with quality sound that resulted from special features, including ARL (Automatic Level Control), Hi-Lo mic sensitivity and an LED metering system for monitoring record and playback signal strength. It uses AC Bias for recording. It is a vintage cassette tape recorder because of its age (over 20 years) and has long since been unavailable from Radio Shack.
