Sanyo MCD-Z27 Double Cassette CD Remote Bassxpander I have had this about 20 years as I bought this way back when - by - taking a cd to the store to play in all of their box's - "well this is not a traditional 'box'" This one sounded the best to MY Ears that this would play to a appreciable sound level without Distorting &&& without the CD Skipping as was So Prevelant of those 'like-this-one' New CD Player's with CD back then - as this does NOT have any 'read-ahead-sound-buffer' for the cd-player.
